MUPY welcomed DNDi delegates to follow up Ravidasvir registration in Thailand

On June 25, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) provided a warm welcome to the delegation from Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) led by Mr. Jean-Michel Piedagnel and Ms. Vanessa Daniel, Acting Head of the South-East Asia Offic, and Alliance and Operations Leader.

As a partner of Mahidol University (MU), DNDi's delegates visited MUPY to follow up on the progress of the introducing of the hepatitis C drug, namely Ravidasvir, developed by DNDi into Thailand. MU was responsible for importing and registering this drug in the country, while MUPY served as the operator. This was determined to provide physicians and the Thai population have access to a highly effective, safe, and affordable hepatitis C medication.
