Exit Presentation by the Exchange student from Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chiba University, Japan

On October 9, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., MUPY's International Relations Office arranged an exit presentation delivered by Mr. Shun Kaneko, an exchange student from the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chiba University, Japan. Having been held at Room 406, this presentation was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkeaw, Deputy Dean for Public and International Relations, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waree Limwikrant, Chair of the Department of Manufacturing Pharmacy.

Mr. Shun Kaneko had participated in a professional training program focused on Manufacturing Pharmacy under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waree Limwikrant at the Department of Manufacturing Pharmacy from September 11, 2023, to October 10, 2023. This training program aimed to develop the student's ability, social skills, and sense of global citizenship in addition to providing the international student with academic experiences that allowed him to explore, learn, and practice in pertinent subjects. This exchange and training program was also determined to increase the Faculty of Pharmacy's profile and reputation internationally by providing participating students with professional exposure in the area of pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory practice.

Furthermore, this activity corresponded with the Faculty’s mission in terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompass drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics, and dietary supplements to support the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to SDG’s 4th Goal: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and 17th Goal: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership.
