Exit Presentation by the Exchange Student from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Paris-Saclay University, France

On August 18, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., MUPY's International Relations Unit arranged an exit presentation of the professional training program in the area of Regulatory Affairs (RA). The exit presentation was delivered by Mr. Hugo Phan, an exchange student from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Paris-Saclay University, France. Having been held in Room 404, the presentation was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chutima Phechkrajang.This RA professional training program was arranged from April 18, 2023, to August 17, 2023, in collaboration with Sanofi-Aventis (Thailand) Co., Ltd which was the training site of the exchange student. 

This international internship was determined to provide the exchange student with Thailand's RA processes in the private sector so that the exchange student could learn and compare the RA processes of Thailand and France. It also provided the exchange student with insightful professional experiences in RA as well as allowed registered pharmacists and exchange students to share and exchange their professional knowledge and experiences, resulting in increasing the international atmosphere and visibility of Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy and affiliated training sites. It also determined to strengthen a sustainable relationship between the three institutions. Also, this training could help increase mutual understanding of the differences in the profession and responsibilities of pharmacists between the two countries.

Furthermore, this activity responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Reduce inequality within and among countries. Goal 10: reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
