2023 Pharmaceutical Biochemistry Training Program for UST Students

On Monday June 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy (MUPY) by the Department of Biochemistry in collaboration with International Relations Office held an orientation meeting for the 2023 Pharmaceutical Biochemistry Training Program arranged for exchange students from the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Santo Tomas (UST), the Philippines.

It was the 9th batch of the Pharmaceutical Biochemistry Training Program which was participated by four UST biochemistry students. Having been held at Room 710, the orientation meeting was attended by MUPY’s administrative staff led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraphun Jittikoon, the Chair of the Department of Biochemistry, the faculty members in the Department of Biochemistry, and Dr. Amporn Songkasiri. Regarding this, they also provided a warm welcome for UST delegate, namely Asst. Prof. Dr. Ruel Valerio R. De Grano, who accompanied four students to join the training program. They had a good chance to discuss future research collaboration between two universities as well. This training program sought to give trainees professional training in the field of pharmaceutical biochemistry, as well as to increase academic staff and student worldwide exposure, resulting in increasing the global visibility of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
