On Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 02.30 p.m. - 04.30 p.m., MUPY’s executives led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations provided a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Francis R. Capule, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, University of the Phillippines Manila on the occasion of visiting the Faculty of Pharmacy to sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic cooperation between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University and the College of Pharmacy, University of the Phillippines Manila. This event was held at Room 606, Rajaratana Building.
The academic collaboration as mentioned above had a duration in 5 years from March 30, 2023 to March 29, 2028. This collaboration consisted of (1) exchanging of faculty members, researchers and students at all levels, (2) producing collaborative research and academic publication, and (3) organizing seminars and international academic conferences, etc.
Furthermore, this collaboration supported the Sustainable Development Goals' 4th : Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
