On Saturday, 4th of March, 2023, from 10.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, joined as an invited speaker in the international symposium entitled "Pharmacist Contributions in the Health Care System: Beyond a Bench to Bed" organized by Indonesia's Faculty of Pharmacy University of Surabaya. Her academic topic was "Implementation of Health Technology Assessment and Drug Expenditures Containment". Having been held via the Zoom platform, it was attended by more than 100 international participants across the globe.
This online symposium aimed to create a platform where the scholars, researchers, and students from pharmacy schools can share knowledge and experiences regarding roles and contribution of pharmacists in healthcare system. In addition, this online session responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Quality Education to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
