MUHTA graduate students received the 2021 Distinguished Thesis Award

Congratulations to the following graduate students and their thesis advisor on earning the 2021 Distinguished Thesis Award offered by Mahidol University’s Faculty of Graduate Studies. Mr. Ong The Due and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, his thesis advisor, received the Outstanding Thesis Award at the Doctoral Degree Level in the Area of Health Sciences and Applied Health Sciences. The title of their research was “Cost-utility Analysis of Direct Acting Antivirals for Treatment of Chronic Hepatitis C Genotype 1 and 6 in Vietnam”. In addition, Mr. Ong The Due obtained his doctoral degree from Mahidol University’s Doctor of Philosophy Program in Health Technology Assessment (International Program). Ms. Anne Julienne Marcelo Genuino and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, her thesis advisor, received the Outstanding Thesis Award at the Master Degree Level in the Area of Health Sciences and Applied Health Sciences. The title of their research was “Cost-utility Analysis of Adjuvant Trastuzumab for Her2-Positive Early Breast Cancer Patients in the Philippines”. Besides, Ms. Anne Julienne Marcelo Genuino obtained her Master Degree from Mahidol University’s Master of Science Program in Health Technology Assessment (International Program). Furthermore, the graduate program in Health Technology Assessment (International Program) is collaboratively organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Social Sciences And Humanities, Institute for Population and Social Research, and Faculty of Graduate Studies.
