Johann wolfgan Goethe University held a memorial scientific symposium for Dr. Ekarat Jantratid who recently passed away. This is to commemorate important scientific achievement and distinguished work of Dr. Ekarat throughout his lifetime. This event was held on 9 October 2010 at the Johann Wolfgan Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, where Dr. Ekarat studied and worked prior to joining the Department of Pharmacy of MUPY in 2009. Prof. Dr. Sompol Prakongpan, Dr. Ekarat’s mentor and advisor, represented MUPY in this symposium. The attendants of the meeting were invited speakers from the Netherlands, Greek, Japan and Germany, some of whom were Dr. Ekarat’s previous colleagues and friends.
