MUPY held the Joint Seminar with Kitasato University from Japan on 3 March 2010. The seminar is entitiled Basic and Applied Studies of Bioactive Natural Products and Traditional Medicines. This is to promote knowledge sharing and collaborative research between the two universities. Representatives from Kitasato included Professor Haruki Yamada, Dean of Kitasato Institute for Life Sciences, Kitasato University, Assoc. Prof. Takayuki Nagai and Ms. Michiko Sekaya, a doctoral student. For Mahidol side, speakers include Dr. Veena Nukoolkarn, Dr. Natthinee Anantachoke and Ms. Chotika Veeraphant.
