To promote communication skills among pharmacy students, MUPY held the first Patient Counseling Competition on 20 January 2010. Dean Chuthamanee Suthisisang presided over this event. There were a total of 8 contestants and the winner was Panadda Panusuthikorn, a 5th year student. Paradee Tiemduangtawan, a 4th year student also received Popular Pharmacist Vote award.
