Zoom meeting with the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyushu University

On Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 08:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M. (Bangkok local time), the faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Leanpolchareanchai, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraphong Suksiriworapong attended an online meeting with the delegates of the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyushu University, led by Prof. Dr. Kenji Hamase, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seiichi Sakamoto.

The meeting served as a platform to finalize arrangements for the upcoming professional training program tailored for three exchange students from Kyushu University. The program, scheduled to take place from March 3 to April 3, 2025, will be hosted by MUPY and is designed to provide comprehensive hands-on training and experiential learning opportunities. The students will be under the dedicated supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Leanpolchareanchai, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraphong Suksiriworapong, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Benyakan Pongkitwitoon, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience for the participanting students.

This collaboration highlighted the strong partnership between Mahidol University and Kyushu University and their shared vision of advancing pharmaceutical education and research on a global scale. Furthermore, this online meeting responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
