MUPY welcomed Delegation from the University of British Columbia, Canada

On January 28, 2025, from 09.00 A.M. to 11.00 A.M., MUPY’s executives led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, Program Director of Mahidol University Health Technology Assessment (MUHTA) Graduate Program, and Assoc. Prof. Usa Chaikedkleaw, Co-Program Director of MUHTA Graduate Program, provided a warm welcome to delegation from the School of Population and Public Health (SPPH), University of British Columbia, Canada. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Aslam Anis (SPPH Director), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniel Steel (SPPH Program Director), who visited the faculty to discuss potential future collaboration between the two institutes.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Aslam Anis also gave a special lecture on the topic of ‘Prescription Drug Prices & New Drug Launches – an International Comparison’ to MUHTA faculty members and students at Room 401 of the Research Bldg. Moreover, the event responded to the SDG Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
