MIPY hosted Workshop at Adventist International Mission School

On Friday, January 17, 2025, from 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 P.M., the International Pharmacy School of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Asst. Prof. Jennis Meanwatthana, Deputy Dean for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program), along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Busba Chindavijak, and Dr. Thongtham Suksawat, a faculty member of the International Pharmacy School, arranged an informative workshop at Adventist International Mission School in Saraburi province.

The workshop’s purpose was to introduce MUPY's Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program) to the students and visitors; providing an overview of the program, including its curriculum, admission requirements, and career opportunities. In the event, participants had the opportunity to experience various aspects of a pharmacist’s role through the interactive workshop, and got their questions answered by current International Program’s students and faculty members.

Moreover, during the Peer Talk session, the current students got to share their personal experiences and insights into the program, providing first-hand information about the academic life, social activities, and extracurricular involvement. The event undeniably helped the participants explore potential career path, understand the requirements for admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program), and make informed decisions about their future.

Furthermore, this informative workshop responded to SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
