MUPY hosted visiting professor from University of Technology Sydney to foster academic and research collaboration

On Monday, December 9, 2024, from 01:00 P.M. to 03:00 P.M., the executive members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mullika Chomnawang, Deputy Dean for Innovation Management and Business Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Nuchtavorn, Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa, Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pagakrong Wanapaisan, Assistant Dean for Innovation Management and Business Relations hosted a reception for Prof. Alaina Ammit, a visiting scholar from the Faculty of Science, University of Technology Sydney, Australia.

During the meeting, both parties engaged in fruitful discussions exploring potential avenues for collaboration. Key areas of interest included student mobility and internship opportunities, research partnerships, the development of a joint graduate program, and co-hosting academic conferences. This visit highlights the Faculty's commitment to fostering global partnerships and advancing its mission in innovation and academic excellence.

Furthermore, this activity responded to the SDG’s Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
