MUPY explored research collaboration and product development with Japan's Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 01:00 P.M. to 03:00 P.M., the executives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mullika Chomnawang, Deputy Dean for Innovation Management and Business Relations, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pagakrong Wanapaisan, Assistant Dean for Innovation Management and Business Relations, had the honor of hosting a delegation from Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Japan. Having been held at Room V401, the meeting was aimed at fostering discussions on potential future research collaboration focusing on a research and product development project for household toilet yellow stain cleaners in Thailand. 

During the meeting, the representatives from Kobayashi Pharmaceutical, led by Ms. Azusa Nishido, presented an overview of their company as well as the findings of related research conducted in Japan and China. The discussions also explored collaborative research initiatives to be conducted in Thailand, along with activities aimed at promoting knowledge exchange and technology transfer. These efforts were expected to lead to meaningful and mutually beneficial outcomes in the future. Additionally, the Faculty expressed its commitment to building a sustainable relationship with Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., to enhance academic services and professional excellence while advancing the broader field of pharmaceutical sciences.
