Professional Training Program for Student from Shinshu University

On July 16, 2024, from 09.00 A.M. to 11.30 A.M., MUPY's International Relations Unit arranged orientation meeting for Mr. Keisuke Itsukushima, an exchange student from Japan's Graduate School of Science and Technology, Shinshu University. Having been held at Room 309, the orientation meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Korbtham Sathirakul and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Leanpolchareanchai who provided a warm welcome to Mr. Keisuke Itsukushima. They were also his academic advisors for the training program. Mr. Keisuke Itsukushima visited the Faculty of Pharmacy to undertake his professional training and conduct research project from July 16, 2024, to August 30, 2024. His research work focused on the development of mosquito repellent formulations. His training sites consisted of the laboratories at the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Pharmaceutical Technology Division as well as the laboratory at the Department of Medical Entomology, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. Furthermore, this activity corresponded the Faculty’s mission on terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to SDG’s 4th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and 17th Goal: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership.
