Special lecture by a visiting scholar from the University of Montpellier

On May 3, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Department of Physiology organized a public lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Arnaud Monteil, Institute of Functional Genomics, University of Montpellier, France.

In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, along with Assist. Prof. Dr. Wasu Supharattanasitthi, Head of the Physiology Department, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Yingrak Boondam Chuayboon hosted a reception for Prof. Dr. Arnaud Monteil who delivered the lecture entitled "The Sodium Leak Channel NALCN in Health and Disease" to the faculty members and students. Also, he had an opportunity to discuss future international collaboration between the two institutes with MUPY faculty members in  the Department of Physiology.

Furthermore, this activity responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Reduce inequality within and among countries. Goal 10: reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
