Postgraduate Student won Best Student Presentation Award

On April 23, 2024, Mr. Arman Syah Goli, a postgraduate student in the Master of Science in Pharmacy Program in Pharmacology and Biomolecular Sciences (International Program) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), received the "Best Student Presentation Award" in the 144th Annual Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan (Yokohama).

Having been under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vilasinee Hirunpanich Sato, Chair of the Department of Pharmacology, Mr. Arman Syah Goli won the Award from his oral presentation from his thesis entitled “Pharmacological mechanisms of antihyperglycemic effect of Lysiphyllum strychifolium (Craib) A. Schmitz water leaf extract and Development of Microcapsules for Nutraceutical products”.

The 144th Annual Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan was the largest and most prestigious pharmaceutical conference in the pharmaceutical industry in Japan. The event is held every year and has over 8,000 attendees. In 2024, foreign students from around the world submitted over 750 presentations. The Achievement of Mr. Arman Syah Goli was an evidence of the quality of teaching, learning, and research excellence of MUPY's graduate programs. It also reflected MUPY's internationalization which was open and supports the students of all nationalities to achieve their highest potential.
