Special lectures by adjunct professor and invited speaker

On March 26, 2024, from 09:00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) arranged a public lecture delivered by MUPY adjunct professor and invited speaker. Having been hosted by Assist. Prof. Dr. Arnatchai Maiuthed, the public lecture included two topics. The first topic was “TROP2: The master regulation of cellular stiffness and metastasis potential of colorectal cancer cell” which was delivered by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Regine Schneider-Stock, MUPY adjunct professor. The second topic was “Natural product-derived compounds for lung cancer therapy”, and was conveyed by Prof. Dr. Pithi Chanvorachote, the guest speaker from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. These lectures also gained an interest from MUPY faculty members and students who joined the event at Room 404. Besides, the lectures received the support from Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

After the lectures, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, together with Assist. Prof. Dr. Arnatchai Maiuthed also had an opportunity to discuss future research collaboration between the two institutes. In addition, this event responded to SDGs goals including Goal 4: Quality Education to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
