During January 8-17, 2024, four undergraduate students from Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy, including 1) Ms. Taksaporn Thapkhod, 2) Ms.Tanaporn Poochangthong, 3) Ms.Siyapat Pongprasert, and 4) Ms.Supitsara Khanorm, participated in the Academic Exchange Course hosted by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In the exchange program, the students had an opportunity to join several academic activities including pharmacy laboratory courses, cross-cultural exchanges, field trips to pharmaceutical companies and hospital, campus tour, and city tours.
The exchange program would develop participating students' abilities, professional skills, social skills, and sense of global citizenship in addition to providing them with professional exposure in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practices in Vietnamese settings. Furthermore, this activity also responded to SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
