MUPY visited Nihon Pharmaceutical University to strengthen academic collaboration

On December 1, 2023, from 01:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m. (local time in Japan), the delegation of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) led by Asst. Prof. Jennis Meanwatthana, MUPY's Chairperson of the Professional Practice Committee in the Pharmaceutical Care Track, along with Asst. Prof. Sayamon Sukkha and Dr. Amporn Songkasiri made an official visit at Nihon Pharmaceutical University located in Saitama Prefecture, Tokyo Metropolis, Japan.

In this regard, the welcoming and meeting were hosted by Dr. Naoto Uramaru and NPU's faculty members. Having been arranged on NPU's Saitama Campus , this collaborative meeting was determined to discuss future academic collaboration including the clinical internship program for the students of both universities. Other potential collaboration and activities were also planned for future programs and arrangements. After the meeting, Dr. Naoto Uramaru provided them with a campus tour to see NPU's learning atmosphere and research facilities on campus.

Furthermore, this meeting responded to the SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
