Academic Seminar by MUPY’s Adjunct Professor

On Monday, March 20, 2023, at 09.00 a.m., MUPY’s executives led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Arnatchai Maiuthed provided a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Regine Schneider-Stock, an adjunct professor of Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy. She visited the Faculty of Pharmacy to participate in a joint academic seminar hosted by Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy as well as to have a meeting and discuss with the Faculty executives for academic and research collaboration between two institutions.

Regarding the joint academic seminar organized by MUPY's International Relations Unit, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Regine Schneider-Stock, joined as an invited speaker and delivered in the topic of "Chorioallontoic Membrane (CAM) Assay". Furthermore, Faculty of Pharmacy received an honor from Dr. Soontorn Tuntithavornwat, an invited speaker from the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, who gave a lecture in the topic of "Organ-on-Chip mimicking tumor microenvironment: Translational mechanobiology of in vitro metastasis". Having been held at Room 701, the collaborative seminar was attended by MUPY's faculty members, researchers, and graduate students.

This seminar supported the Faculty's Mission in terms of "producing research and innovation that meets national and international standard" as well as strengthened a sustainable relationship between three partners. Furthermore, this activity responded to SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
