On Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, from 08.30 a.m. to 04.30 p.m., MUPY’s Department of Physiology organized an online conference on the topic of “Cracking the Elderly’s Secret: the Urinary Problems” via the Zoom Webinars platform. In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, gave an opening speech to welcome the hundreds of online participants.
This virtual conference had speakers from both inside and outside of the Faculty of Pharmacy including the speakers from the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. The purposes of this conference were to deliver accurate knowledge about the urinary system in the elderly and prepare them to take care of when having the relevant problems.
Moreover, the conference also supports the SDGs in the 3rd, 4th, and 10th which are to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being at all ages, ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and reduce inequality within and among countries, respectively.
