มีคนมาขอซื้อ domperidone บอกว่าเอาไปกระตุ้นไข่ปลา มันมีแบบนี้จริง ๆ เหรอคะ แล้วยาจะตกค้างในปลาไหม

Domperidone เป็นยาในกลุ่ม dopamine antagonist ที่ใช้เพื่อบรรเทาอาการคลื่นไส้อาเจียนในมนุษย์ (1) โดยทางการประมงมีการใช้ domperidone เพื่อกระตุ้นการตกไข่และ/หรือการวางไข่ของปลาที่เพาะเลี้ยง เช่น ปลาคาร์พ (carp) ปลาหัวโต (bighead carp) ปลาหมู (loach) เป็นต้น แต่มักใช้ domperidone ร่วมกับฮอร์โมนอื่น ๆ เช่น GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการกระตุ้นการวางไข่ (2)  จากกลไกการออกฤทธิ์ของ domperidone ที่ทำหน้าที่ยับยั้งการทำงานของโดปามีน (dopamine) ในสมองส่วนไฮโพทาลามัส (hypothalamus) ของปลา ส่งผลให้เพิ่มการหลั่ง GnRH จากไฮโพทาลามัส โดยฮอร์โมน GnRH ที่เพิ่มขึ้นนี้จะกระตุ้นให้ต่อมใต้สมองหลั่ง follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) และ luteinizing hormone (LH) ซึ่งเป็นฮอร์โมนสำคัญในการกระตุ้นการพัฒนาของไข่และการตกไข่ (3, 4)  อย่างไรก็ตามยังไม่พบข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการเผาผลาญและการขับออกของ domperidone ในปลา จึงไม่สามารถสรุปความเสี่ยงของสารตกค้างในปลาได้อย่างชัดเจน
