Admission

Students from schools in Thailand and overseas

  1. Educational qualifications:
    1. Studying or graduating from Thai High Schools (M.6) without a specified study plan OR Studying or graduating from International High Schools with Grade 12 in the American system or Year 13 in the British system OR Obtaining a certificate equivalent to the criteria set by the Ministry of Education, in accordance with the Ministry of Education regulations regarding the comparison of domestic and foreign educational qualifications at the level of basic education B.E. 2563 (documents confirmation).
    2. High school transcripts must include four science-mathematics subjects, which should include:1) Chemistry 2) Biology 3) Physics, and 4) Mathematics.
  2. Test scores are as follows
    1. A cumulative grade point average (GPAX) of 3.00 or above.
      1. For Graduate Students, a cumulative grade point average (GPAX) must be shown for 6 semesters.
      2. For Current Students, a cumulative grade point average (GPAX) must be shown for 4 semesters (Academic Year 2021 and 2022). For most recent consecutive semester.
    2. A total score of the IB Diploma must be greater than or equal to 35 points out of 45 points. Alternatively, a total score of International A Level must be at least ABB in three subjects from the science-mathematics subjects: 1) Chemistry, 2) Biology, 3) Physics, and 4) Mathematics. However, applicants studying under the Basic Education Core Curriculum may not be required to present a total score of the IB Diploma or International A Level.

Remarks: Graduates or current students in the final year of high school with other foreign curriculums are also eligible to apply. Consideration and approval will be under the Admission Committee of the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Pharmacy School), Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University Academic Year 2024

The standardized test scores are as follows

  1. Knowledge standardized test scores
    1. The Biomedical admission test (BMAT) score: No minimum score is required. OR The SAT Subject Test (SAT II) score is at least 650 in each of three subjects: 1) Biology M 2) Chemistry 3) Physics or Mathematics 2.
  2. English language standardized test scores
    1. A TOEFL Internet-based (TOEFL - iBT) score of at least 79 OR an IELTS Academic Test score of at least 6.5

** All of these international knowledge standardized test scores and English language standardized test scores from section 2.4 should be dated within two years from the test date to the interview date. **
