Doctor of Pharmacy
Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University strongly encourages undergraduate students to go abroad since it will provide students with international learning experiences. Also, the students will have a chance to discover new academic, professional, and cultural understandings and experiences. The Faculty of Pharmacy has internationally collaborated with partner universities throughout the world not only in Asia, but also in Europe, America and Australia, to arrange various academic and professional exchanges. The activities include 1) social and cultural exchange, 2) pharmacy-related and professional exchange, and 3) overseas professional internship in both Pharmaceutical Care track and Pharmaceutical Sciences track. These activities will develop students’ potential and essential skills for this new era. Moreover, Mahidol University has scholarships and partial funding support to promote the exchange program according to conditions determined by the University and/or the Faculty.
The examples of our partnered universities include Chiba University, Kyushu University, Kyoto Pharmaceutical University, Meiji Pharmaceutical University, Nihon Pharmaceutical University, University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines, Manila, Hanoi University, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, National University of Singapore, National University of Malaysia, Taylor’s University, Gadjah Mada University, University of Indonesia, University of Kentucky, University of Arizona, University of Illinois, Chicago and West Virginia University.
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University wholeheartedly hopes that these exchange activities will be one of the significant mechanisms to emerge and fulfill the knowledge, experiences, and potential of all students in the different dimensions corresponding to the aspect of Mahidol HIDEF’s Internationalization aspect. Furthermore, these international exchanges aim to equip student with future skills and qualifications according to the nation’s demands. Last but not least, the students will be able to live in the globalized world which connects all the people, cultures, and institutions together, as responsible Global Citizen and Global Talent
