The graduates may pursue the following careers:

1. Hospital pharmacist

   Working inside hospital, dispensing medications, advising patients on drug use, counseling with patients and healthcare professionals for any drug-related problems, compounding extemporaneous drug preparations for individual patient, and managing drug inventory and usage in hospitals.

2. Clinical pharmacist

   Working closely with healthcare team to optimize patient care, choosing drug and dosage regimen for individual patient, monitoring drug efficacy and safety, looking for drug therapy to promote health and prevent disease, and providing drug information to healthcare team and patients upon request.

3. Community pharmacist

   Working in drug store as a practitioner, having roles in primary care services for public, analyzing symptoms and selecting appropriate drug for suffering people, monitoring drug use in people with chronic diseases, and providing health promotion in community.

4. Family pharmacist

   Working closely with family, taking care of patients at their own house, verifying drug use and storage, monitoring effectiveness of drug use in chronic diseases of bed-ridden patients, and referring back to hospitals (if necessary), and promoting health awareness and disease prevention.

5. Clinical research associate pharmacist

   Working in drug company or clinical trial unit, conducting research on new drug or new procedures of using old drugs, studying drug effectiveness, cost- benefit, drug non- adherence, or incidence of adverse drug events, etc.

6. Academic pharmacist

   Working in University, teaching and training pharmacy students, doing research on new drug discovery, pharmacy practice, therapeutic and health outcomes in patients, and updating educational textbooks and tools in patient care area.

7. Medical science liaison pharmacist

   Working as a bridge between pharmaceutical company and healthcare professionals, providing knowledge and information of new products and treatments to prescribers and related professionals.

8. Business owner

   Working as owner of independent drug stores, chain drug stores, health products business, clinical research company, drug product registration company, drug/cosmeceuticals/nutraceuticals import and/or export company, etc.
