On Friday, August 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), through its International Relations Unit, organized an Exit Presentation for exchange students participating in the 2026 Bhe Saj Sawasdee Program (Year 2). The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, and Dr. Pongpol Thanuphol, Assistant Dean for Corporate Communication, at Room 702, Rajaratana Building.
Held from July 20 to August 7, 2026, the 2026 Bhe Saj Sawasdee Program (Year 2) brought together exchange students from five partner institutions: (1) Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Santo Tomas (UST), the Philippines; (2) Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University (VNU-UMP), Vietnam; (3) Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Indonesia; (4) Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Notokusumo Yogyakarta (STIKES), Indonesia; and (5) Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia.
The program was designed to promote academic exchange in the fields of pharmacy and public health while providing participants with valuable insights into Thailand's healthcare system and pharmacy profession. During the Exit Presentation, the exchange students reflected on and shared the academic knowledge, practical experiences, and intercultural learning they had gained throughout the program. The activity also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange perspectives and demonstrate the learning outcomes achieved during their stay at MUPY.
The successful completion of the program reflects MUPY's commitment to advancing internationalization and strengthening academic collaboration with partner universities worldwide. Through initiatives such as the 2026 Bhe Saj Sawasdee Program, MUPY continues to promote international learning, intercultural understanding, and sustainable academic partnerships. Furthermore, the program contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting international learning opportunities, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by fostering equitable access to cross-border educational exchange, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening long-term collaboration with partner institutions around the world
