On August 2, 2024, from 01.30 P.M. to 03.30 P.M., the executives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, along with Dr. Aalok Basu, hosted a reception for the delegation from India's SMBT College of Pharmacy led by Dr. Yogesh Ushir, the Dean of the College. The visitors came to MUPY to explore opportunities for collaborative research in pharmaceutical sciences, and exchange knowledge and best practices in pharmaceutical education and research while also strengthening academic partnerships between both institutions. Furthermore, SMBT researchers had a chance to visit MUPY’s Centre of Molecular Targeting and Integrated Drug Development (CMT-IDD).
Furthermore, this activity responded to the SDG’s Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
