On June 25, 2024, MUPY's International Relations Office cohosted the 2024 Student Mobility Program with Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP), Vietnam. Regarding this, Dr. Thongtham Suksawat, as the representative of Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy, accompanied two MUPY undergraduate students to join the Student Mobility Program physically organized at HUP located in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Student Mobility Program was arranged during June 25 to July 19, 2024. The students included 1) Ms. Chintaporn Thongchian, and 2) Ms. Warinthorn Krobsanit. In addition, MUPY would like to thank Mahidol University’s Division of International Relations for providing its Undergraduate Student Mobility Scholarship for two pharmacy students to participate in this exchange program in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The Program's orientation meeting was set up and attended by HUP faculty members who provided a warm welcome and reception for the MUPY delegates and students. In addition, MUPY students had an opportunity to meet exchange students from Taiwan's China Medical University (CMU) as they visited HUP to join the same exchange program.

The Student Mobility Program aimed to provide the participating students with global knowledge, professional practices, and international exposure to Vietnam’s pharmacy education and healthcare system. They also gained internationally cultural experiences in ASEAN countries, resulting in increasing MUPY students’ capacity as well as enhancing MUPY's international visibility.

Besides, this student exchange program strengthened a strong relationship between MUPY and HUP. It also corresponded to the Faculty of Pharmacy's Mission of producing graduates with equivalent quality to leading pharmacy institutions in Asia, equipped with morality and competency to serve the societal need. It also responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Quality Education to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
