MUPY lecturer join UKM Sharing Session

On September 29, 2022, from 09:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Bangkok time), Asst. Prof. Jennis Meanwatthana participated as an invited speaker in the Sharing Session entitled “Pharmacist Services in SEA Countries” hosted by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Having been held via the Facebook Live platform of the Faculty of Pharmacy, UKM channel, this online event was arranged as a part of the 2002 Educational and Research Virtual Mobility Programme in conjunction with the World Pharmacists Day. This event aimed to provide its participants with knowledge and experience sharing focusing on the pharmacists’ roles and services in SEA countries. The talk was delivered by four international speakers from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines. This sharing session also determined to broaden the audiences’ view and perspectives in terms of pharmacy profession at global level. Furthermore, this activity supported the Faculty’s Missions in terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to the SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
