On January 31, 2022, from 01:30 p.m. - 03:30 p.m., Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, was an invited speaker in the ’Chiba University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Online Study Abroad Program’. His topic was ’Pharmacy in Thailand’ and ASEAN’, which was delivered to more than 50 Japanese pharmacy students of Chiba University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This online activity was virtually hosted by Sophia Global Education and Discovery Co., Ltd. (Sophia GED) via the Zoom platform. This program aimed to provide an opportunity for Chiba University’s students to learn more about Thailand’s public healthcare and its pharmacy system. This activity also strengthened a strong relationship between MUPY and Chiba University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Furthermore, this online session responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Quality Education to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
