Online Seminar on Trends in Molecular Ageing Research

On November 24, 2021, from 01.00 p.m. to 06.00 p.m., MUPY’s Department of Physiology organized a virtual seminar on ‘Trends in Molecular Ageing Research’ which was broadcasted via the Cisco Webex Events platform. Regarding this, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, addressed the warm welcoming speech to more than 180 registered participants who joined this online seminar. In addition, the series of relevant lectures were delivered by invited speakers from both national and international levels such as Prof. Dr. Luminita Paraoan, Institute of Life Course and Medical Sciences, University of Liverpool, UK. The objectives of this online seminar were to facilitate the exchange of up-to-date knowledge and international research studies in the area of Ageing among researchers, pharmacists, and scholars as well as to promote the Mahidol - Liverpool Joint Unit for Ageing Research operated by the Faculty of Pharmacy, resulting in the future collaboration in research and innovation at national and international levels. Besides, this seminar aimed to serve the Faculty’s mission in terms of being the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation. This event also promoted the SDGs’ goal including the 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and the 17th Goal: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
