MoU Signing with Chaophraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital Foundation

On Friday, October 29, 2021, at 01.00 p.m. - 03.00 p.m., MUPY’s executives led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, along with the faculty members in the Department of Pharmaceutical Botany led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Bhanubong Bongcheewin, Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Botany, attended the MOU signing ceremony with the representatives from the Chaophraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital Foundation. Having been arranged at the Chaophraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital located in Prachinburi province, the signing ceremony was attended by the executives and witnesses of two institutions. This collaboration aimed to sustainably preserve and promote the utilization of medicinal plants and Thai herbal medicine. Two organizations agreed to network for the preservation of Thailand’s medicinal plant resources as well as to exchange and add value to the medicinal plant resources through academic activities, research collaboration, and knowledge transfer for the staff of both organizations. Furthermore, this collaboration corresponded to the SDG’s Goals 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages, and Goal 8: Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
