A royally-bestowed bathing rite and royally-sponsored funeral cremation for MUPY’s late Dean

On Tuesday, April 7, 2021, from 03:30 p.m. - 04:45 p.m., His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun officially granted a bathing ritual using royally-bestowed water and a royally-sponsored funeral cremation for MUPY’s late Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvatna Chulavatnatol, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at Ramathibodi Hospital. The funeral rite was presided over by Mr. Prateep Chulavatnatol and took place at Thepsirintharawas Rajaworavihara Temple where hundreds of mourners including her family, MUPY executives, faculty members, supporting staff, colleagues, students, alumni, scholars in healthcare and pharmacy fields, and members of MUPY Foundation and Alumni Association attended the rite. In addition, the schedule of the funeral rites was held from April 7-11, 2021, and the royally-sponsored funeral cremation ceremony was on April 12, 2021, at 04:00 p.m. at Thepsirintharawas Rajaworavihara Temple
