In the morning of October 17th, 2016, Mahidol University Pharmacy Faculty’s executives, faculty members, staff, and students gathered to express its mourning over the passing of the late His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The ceremony led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvatna Chulavatnatol, MUPY Dean, who presided over the ceremony by lighting candles, presenting a garland and leading attendees in observing a moment of silence. She also read the Faculty’s official statement on the demise of the revered King who had reigned in the past 70 years and expressed gratitude for His Majesty’s royal grace.
