On February 2, 2015, Assoc. Prof. Usa Chaikledkaew, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Wandee Gritsanapan, and Assist. Prof. Pongtip Sithisarn, Department of Pharmacognosy, have cordially welcomed Prof. Dr. Matthias Hamburger from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Basel, and Prof. Dr. Veronica Butterweck from School of Life Sciences, University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. On this occasion, they have had a great chance to discuss about further academic collaboration. Then, Prof. Dr. Matthias Hamburger gave special lecture in the topic of “Library-based discovery of bioactive natural products – from screening to medicinal chemistry”, and Prof. Dr. Veronica Butterweck also gave special lecture in the topic of ’Pharmacokinetics of natural products: The missing puzzle piece in the efficacy of phytotherapeutics’ to MUPY faculty members and graduate students, respectively.
