Cardura® มีตัวยาสำคัญคือ doxazosinมีข้อบ่งใช้หลักอยู่ 2 อย่าง ได้แก่ - รักษาความดันโลหิตสูง โดยออกฤทธิ์ขยายหลอดเลือด สามารถใช้เป็นยาขนานเดียวหรือใช้ร่วมกับยารักษาความดันโลหิตสูงตัวอื่นๆ - รักษาอาการปัสสาวะขัด (ภาวะที่มีการอุดตันการไหลออกของปัสสาวะ) ในผู้ป่วยที่เป็นโรคต่อมลูกหมากโต (Benign Prostatic-Hyperplasia)
