The 1st National Conference on Drug Interaction Held by MUPY Received Countrywide Attention
MUPY held the 1st National Conference on Drug Interaction during 15-16 July 2010. This conference has received tremendous amount of attention with record number participants of over 400 people from various disciplines. This conference aimed to highlight and provide knowledge a common, yet underappreciated, problem of drug interactions, which many times lead to adverse patient outcome. The topics include principle of drug interactions, metabolizing enzymes and drug transporters and common drug interactions found in pharmacy practice. At the end of the conference, participants would be able to apply such knowledge with the aim of improvement in patient care of the country.
