During March 6-16, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arthorn Riewpaiboon, a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy, accepted an official invitation from Gadjah Mada University’s Faculty of Pharmacy to be a "Visiting Professor" for academic services and collaboration. Having been officially invited for three months starting from March to May 2023, he worked and collaborated with Gadjah Mada University’s Faculty of Pharmacy in both online and on-site platform. In addition, he visited the Faculty of Pharmacy, Gadjah Mada University during March 6-16, 2023 to deliver special academic lectures as well as give academic advices.
Furthermore, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arthorn Riewpaiboon had a chance to give academic lectures to three Indonesian universities including Universitas Ngudi Waluyo (NWU), Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (Unissula), and Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP). His lectures were attended by Indonesian instructors, undergraduate students, and graduate students. They also received his academic advices on their research works. Moreover, his lecture topics included Pharmacy Education in Thailand, Social and Administrative Pharmacy in Pharmacy Practice, Health Economics for Management and Development of Hospital Services, How to Use Hospital Database for Pharmacoeconomic Study, Costing Method for Pharmacoeconomic Study, How to Develop a Thesis Proposal, Developing Research Idea in Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Strategy of Research Publication.
In addition, this activit supported the Faculty’s Missions in terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to the SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, Goal 10th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
