The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry organized the 13th Pharmaceutical Chemistry conference on Upskill Training for Pharmaceutical Industry

On Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 09.00 am. - 04.00 pm., the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University organized the 13th Pharmaceutical Chemistry online conference on ‘Upskill Training for Pharmaceutical Industry: Journey of Quality - From Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients to Products’ under the project ‘Reinventing University: Drug Discovery & Development’. The conference was broadcasted via Cisco Webex Webinars. In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang, Vice President of Mahidol University, gave a warm opening speech and welcomed all of 135 participants. The 13th Pharmaceutical Chemistry conference was arranged on August 4-5, 2022. There were speakers from both inside and outside of the Faculty who delivered the knowledge on pharmaceutical chemistry in different topics such as drug discovery and drug development, etc. The purposes of this conference were to enhance the understandings of participants on various topics, especially, the updated information in the pharmacopoeia, as well as to commemorate the ’100th year anniversary of Prof. Pradit Hutangura’ who was the first founder of the Faculty and the significant figure of Thai pharmaceutical industry. Moreover, the conference was not only aligned with the mission of the Faculty, but also responded to the SDG’s 3rd Goal: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages and 4th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries.
