Biochemistry Department organized the 2022 Online Training for UST Students

On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 09.00 a.m. (Bangkok time), MUPY’s administrative staff led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraphun Jittikoon, the Chair of MUPY’s Department of Biochemistry, the faculty members in the Department of Biochemistry, and Mr. Amporn Songkasiri, joined an orientation meeting of the 2022 Pharmaceutical Biochemistry Training Program for UST Exchange Students via the Zoom Meetings platform. Also joined this orientation meeting included the faculty members in the Faculty of Pharmacy, the University of Santo Tomas (UST), the Philippines led by Prof. Dr. Agnes L. Castillo และ Asst. Prof. Dr. Minerva L. Daya, faculty members, and 39 UST biochemistry students, who were the 8th batch of program trainees. This year, MUPY’s Department of Biochemistry arranged a Pharmaceutical Biochemistry Training Program for UST Exchange Students on the Microsoft Teams platform from June 15, 2022, until July 15, 2022. This training program sought to give trainees professional training in the field of pharmaceutical biochemistry, as well as to increase academic staff and student worldwide exposure, resulting in increasing the global visibility of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Furthermore, this activity responded to SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
