MUPY organized the 18th Advancement in Pharmacology Conference

On September 24 - 25, 2020, MUPY’s Department of Pharmacology organized the “18th Advancement in Pharmacology Conference” at Grand Mercure Bangkok Fortune Hotel. Also, the conference was simultaneously conducted via the online platform on Cisco Webex to its 269 participants. The conference’s welcoming speech was officially delivered by Assoc. Prof. Preecha Montakantikul, MUPY’s Deputy Dean for Education. Following this session were several academic lectures on new pharmaceuticals and medicines by the faculty members in the Department of Pharmacology and an invited speaker, namely Dr. Trai Tharnpanich from Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The purposes of this conference were to provide its participants new and updated knowledge in pharmacology in order to improve the knowledge and professional skills of Thai pharmacists and healthcare personnel on new pharmaceuticals and medicines such as medicines for COVID-19, hemophilia, etc., resulting in making appropriate and rational uses of the new drugs. The conference also aimed to encourage lifelong learning and to promote the wellbeing of Thai people as well.
