Public Lecture delivered by Korean Professor from Seoul National University

On July 8, 2022, from 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Korbtham Sathirakul provided a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Seung Joon Baek, a guest speaker from the College of Veterinary Medicine, Seoul National University, as he revisited MUPY to deliver a public lecture entitled “Biomedical Application of Cold Atmospheric Plasma”. Having been physically arranged at Room 606 and virtually live-streamed via the Zoom Webinar platform, this public lecture was attended by more than 20 audiences including academic staff, researchers, and graduate students. After the lecture session, Prof. Dr. Seung Joon Baek had an opportunity to meet Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraphun Jittikoon, Chair of the Biochemistry Department, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanvisa Udomsinprasert. They also discussed a possibility for future academic and research collaboration between two institution. In addition, this activity responded to SDG’s 4th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and 17th Goal: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
