On Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 08.45 a.m. – 03.30 p.m., the Graduate Program in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) was assessed according to MU AUN-QA Assessment Tier 3 via the Cisco Webex Meetings platform. The assessor team included Dr. Nuttapong Onparn and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teerapong Siriboonpiputtana. This online assessment was virtually hosted by Mahidol University’s Division of Quality Development.
In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, attended the opening session before giving a warm welcoming speech to the assessors and participants. Then, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, the Director of the HTA Graduate Program gave an overview presentation about the program curriculum and management, followed by the assessment processes at Room V401 of the Research Building.
Furthermore, the assessment procedures included 1) an interview of the program director and committee, academic staff, supporting staff, alumni, employers, and current students, and 2) an online site visit in form of the live streaming. Then, the presentation of the key findings of the program assessment was delivered by the assessors to the HTA program committees on May 6, 2022, via the Cisco Webex Meetings.
