On February 1, 2022, from 01:30 p.m. - 03:30 p.m., Asst. Prof. Dr. Bhanubong Bongcheewin, Chair of the Pharmaceutical Botany’s Department, was an invited speaker in the ’Chiba University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Online Study Abroad Program’. His topic was ’Thai herbs and Siree Park ’, which was delivered to more than 50 Japanese pharmacy students of Chiba University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This online activity was virtually hosted by Sophia Global Education and Discovery Co., Ltd. (Sophia GED) via the Zoom platform.
This program aimed to provide an opportunity for Chiba University’s students to learn more about the values and advantages of Thai medicinal plants in terms of an ingredient and the uses of medical purposes. This activity also strengthened a strong relationship between MUPY and Chiba University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Furthermore, this online session responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Quality Education to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
