On June 29, 2020, during 11.45 am - 01.15 pm., MUPY officially organized its first online webinar entitled ’Update in Pharmacotherapy and Vaccine for COVID-19’ via Cisco Webex system to its 643 registered participants who were hospital pharmacists across the country. The webinar’s welcoming remark session was delivered by MUPY’s Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvatna Chulavatnatol, followed by the lectures focusing on the pharmacotherapy and vaccine for COVID-19 conveyed by four faculty members from the Department of Pharmacy including Assoc. Prof. Preecha Montakantikul, Asst. Prof. Pitchaya Dilokpattanamongkol, Asst. Prof. Supatat Chumnumwat, and Lect. Jennis Meanwatthana. The webinar aimed to disseminate updated knowledge and good practices regarding a rational and safe drug use of COVID-19 medication. Furthermore, this was the first time that MUPY’s Studio was officially used after it had been developed as a result of the viral spreading over a few months in Thailand. The Faculty intentionally constructed the Studio to respond to the disruptive change in an education that occurred as well as for instructional and academic service purposes.
