On Monday, August 10, 2026, from 09.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), through the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, in collaboration with the International Relations and Public Relations Unit, organized an orientation for the Professional Training Program for students from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Indonesia. The orientation was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, together with Prof. Leena Suntornsuk and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chutima Phechkrajang, who welcomed three exchange students at Meeting Room 409, Rajaratana Building. Dr. Anggita Rosiana Putri and Dr. Adeltrudis Adelsa Danimayostu, faculty members from Universitas Brawijaya, also attended the orientation.
The three exchange students from Universitas Brawijaya, Ms. Utari Rachma Nadhifa, Ms. Yovita Hartanti, and Ms. Nasta Putri Aulia, are participating in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Exchange and Training Program from August 10 to September 4, 2026. The program aims to enhance students’ knowledge and research competencies in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry through hands-on training in research laboratories at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University. It also provides opportunities for the students to exchange knowledge and experiences, while fostering intercultural learning in an international academic environment.
The exchange and training program reflects MUPY’s commitment to strengthening international academic collaboration and developing students’ research competencies in pharmaceutical sciences. It also supports MUPY’s mission to serve as an academic service hub in pharmaceuticals, herbal products, cosmetics, and food for sustainable national development. Furthermore, the program contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by contributing to the reduction of inequalities within and among countries; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening global partnerships for sustainable development.
