On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., the International Pharmacy School, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MIPY), organized the 2nd MIPY Connect & Care activity at Karunyawet Home for Persons with Disabilities Protection and Development, and Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi Province. The event brought together a large number of faculty members, staff, and students from the 1st to 3rd cohorts of the Doctor of Pharmacy (International Program).
The program featured a series of activities, including the Pay It Forward session, which encouraged interaction and relationship-building among first-, second-, and third-year students, followed by a volunteer service activity at the Karunyawet Home for Persons with Disabilities Protection and Development. The program concluded with a team-building activity at Khao Kheow Open Zoo. The initiative was designed to strengthen relationships among students enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy (International Program), while fostering volunteerism, compassion, generosity, selflessness, and a commitment to serving society. In addition, the program provided students with an opportunity to unwind from their academic responsibilities, gain meaningful experiences beyond the classroom, promote a positive learning environment, and strengthen unity among students within the program.
Furthermore, the activity reflects the MUPY's mission to produce highly qualified graduates whose academic standards are comparable to those of leading institutions in Asia, while cultivating integrity and a strong sense of social responsibility. It also supports the MUPY's mission of serving as a center of excellence in academic services related to medicines, herbal products, cosmetics, and food for the sustainable development of the country. Moreover, the program contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.
