MUPY Executives Joined Official Dinner Reception to Strengthen Thailand–Egypt Healthcare Collaboration

On Monday, July 20, 2026, at 07:00 p.m., the administrative executives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, attended an official dinner reception graciously hosted by H.E. Mrs. Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Thailand, at the Ambassador's invitation.
The dinner was also attended by Prof. Dr. Hossam Abd-ElGaffar, Assistant Minister of Health and Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health of the Arab Republic of Egypt, along with representatives from the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) of Thailand and the National Health Security Office (NHSO) of Thailand. The gathering provided a valuable platform for exchanging perspectives on healthcare development and exploring potential areas of collaboration between Thailand and Egypt.
During the discussions, participants focused on opportunities for capacity building in Egypt, particularly through academic collaboration, professional development, and the exchange of expertise in pharmaceutical education, healthcare systems, and public health. The meeting reaffirmed the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University's commitment to fostering international partnerships that advance education, research, and healthcare development while contributing to sustainable global health cooperation.
